Polnische Grenze – 29,3 km

The surface is partly asphalt, partly gravel and paved forest and stony roads. The border between Poland and the Czech Republic is formed by the Charles Bridge, which is undergoing reconstruction in the summer of 2021. For now, expect a "temporary adrenaline bridge" over the Jizera River. Along the way, several options for refreshments and rest both in Poland and in the Czech Republic.

The route starts in the center of Harrachov, from where you drive towards Biatlonová wheel, where the ascent along the forest path called Misarova begins. After it, you soon cross the Polish border and continue along the grassy forest road to the intersection, where you turn right in the direction of Jakuszyce and take a circuit to reach the settlement of Orle. The only heritage-protected building left from the settlement's heyday now houses a tourist hut buffet and a hall with a fireplace. The building of today's tourist lodge "Orle", the so-called "Hájovna", was built from hewn stone around 1860 by the owner of the glass factory, probably for administrative purposes, it is the only surviving witness of Orle's glassmaking past. On the information panel, you can view a map of the Polish part of Jizera, which may tempt you to take another trip to this area. Continue along the bike path to the second turn to the left to Jizera, which gradually turns into a stony path to the river. Here you can reach the other side of the bridge back to Bohemia. To begin with, after a steeper climb, you will reach the Hřebenovka path, which will take you to the settlement of Jizerka to the former Nová Huta. Here you have several snack options, it depends on your choice. At the Pod Bukovec parking lot, you will go on a long descent around the Jizera to the Martinské údolí. Before the final two-kilometer descent to Harrachov, you have one last exit along the steep forest gravel road to Mýtiny.
