The winter magic of Giant Mountains
Harrachov becomes a truly magical landscape in winter. Snowy, sky-high hills, frozen forest streams and pools and mountain nature will leave you with really strong feelings full of wonder and enthusiasm.
Right next to discovering the picturesque winter landscape, Harrachov is famous mainly for skiing and the Mammoth ski jump and other ski jumps on the slopes of the Devil's Mountain, from whose 1,020 meters high peak lead 4 slopes of all three difficulty levels – black for the most demanding, two red and tourist blue.

Skiing in Harrachov
Skiing on the slopes of Harrachov is famous because of the superior preparation of ski runs, even in the spring.
The resort belongs to the last ski areas where you can enjoy good skiing even in late spring. Cross-country ski tracks are of course also well-prepared in Harrachov. Nearly 104 km of various trails including the Giant Mountains highway await leisurely skiers as well as experienced athletes.
About a hundred kilometers of groomed white tracks
The Harrachov sports complex offers less than eight kilometers of slopes, in addition, there are excellent conditions for cross-country skiing in Harrachov – a cross-country stadium and around Harrachov we adjust about a hundred kilometers of cross-country trails," says Vlastislav Fejkl, Deputy Chief Operating Officer of the complex. The cable cars are open from eight to four in the afternoon. Until eight o'clock in the evening, the resort offers night skiing at the bottom of the Červená II. ski slope, where those interested are transported by the four-hundred-meter ski lift Doplik. In addition, the Červená II. ski slope offers great views of the western part of the Jizera Mountains and Ještěd.
