Tip for trip! Walk to Mumlava

The surface of the route is mostly an asphalt road, but there are also sections along forest paths and paths, and it can be driven in off-road with strollers. The middle section of approximately 5 kilometers is without the possibility of refreshments. The approximate middle of the route is the bridge over the river Mumlava near the Lubošská bystrina, where you will learn what the Living dead Mumlava means.

The route starts in the center of Harrachov by going down past the Hilbert complex, Vertikal park to the cable car. From there you can reach the medium ski jumps, on which jumpers of all age categories, mostly children from the age of 10, jump not only in the winter season.

Further past the Pumptrack, after the bridge over the Mumlava river, you take a forest path to the cable car in Ryžoviště and continue along the road until you turn left and climb steeply to the hotel complex. Here already begins the quiet part of the journey along the asphalt road alternately in the sun or in the shade of the forest, which will bring you to the river Mumlava, where you will come across the educational trail Living Dead Mumlava and learn something interesting. Down the river, you will slowly descend to the Mumlavské waterfalls, where the opportunity for refreshments begins. We have planned the route back to the center for you via the side roads on which you turn right just after the bridge over the main road. You will pass the tennis courts, view the grounds of the Harrachov swimming pool from above, and a moment later you will be offered beautiful views of Čertova hora with large ski jumps, and you are already at the end of the route in the center of Harrachov.
